Zetsu is standing in the center of the room. The Kage’s guards are inching closer to Zetsu. Tsuchikage looks at Zetsu then suddenly
smiles as if recognizing someone familiar. Tsuchikage waves to his guards and they lower their weapons as if they too recognize Zetsu.
Tsuchikage: “Relax everyone. This is merely the errand boy of akatsuki, Zetsu. He is no major threat.”
Zetsu smiles as he looks at Tsuchikage and then looks at the others with a slightly nervous expression.
Raikage: “He is a member of akatsuki! He should be killed on sight! No exceptions!”
Tsuchikage: “I said relax! This mere boy is barely strong enough to lift a kunai but nothing more.”

“Why you little…Where were you when we needed your unit the most,” asked Shikaku. “Settle down, or this meeting will be postponed,” said one of the Fuedal Lords. “I’m just trying to defend these travasties this man is throwing at me, please for give my manners,” said Danzou. (He stands up and then bows.)

“Do you want Konoha to end up like Mizugakure? Please, here my out. This man stands for everything that is wrong in the shinobi world. He is not the example our past Hokages set for us,” yelled Shikaku.

“Who is to say the new system is worth giving a try? Under the past Hokages the village has always been in turmoil,” said Danzou. naruto 451 raw

“ENOUGH. Danzou is now the 6th Hokage. Anymore complaints and I’ll retain each and everyone of you in confinement,” said Head Fuedal Lord. (Shikaku thinks to himself.)

“I can’t let this happen. I must do something. If I can, then maybe Konoha will have a chance,” said Shikaku. (They leave. 3 Guards escort Danzou and others outside.)

“Now, considering that this area is heavily guarded, I might cause a huge commotion .Kage Mane, complete,” said Shikaku. “What’s going on,” said Guard one. “I can’t move,” said Guard three. “Damn,” yelled Guard 2. “Kage Mane,” said Danzou. “Shikaku, what are you doing,” said Anbu 1. “I have to do this, this man is not what Konoha needs right now,” said Shikaku. “You’ll never get away with this,” said Danzou.

“I don’t care what they’ll do to me. This is my way of making it up to Konoha. BIND,” said Shikaku. (Immediately, the Fuedal lords send in a horde of guards, who are armed with Kunai and heavy weaponry. They capture Shikaku and takes him away.)

“Shame. Did you think you could plot something as drastic as this and not be caught? This place is heavily patrolled,” said Head Council Leader. (They move to the commotion.)

“So, it seems Konoha has some internal problems as well, this is no good,” said Council member. naruto 451

“He’ll most likely recieve the ultimate punishment,” said Next Council Member.

“DAMN it. I was so close,” said Shikaku. “ASSASINATION ATTEMPT. SHIKAKU of Konoha will immediatley be retained in confinement for high treason to the Hokage,” said Head Fuedal Lord. (Who appears with more guards.)

Before that, let’s read the previous Naruto 450 summary entitled The Joyful Village

Naruto returns to the village, with a little help from Kakashi and is greeted with cheers and opens arms. Kakashi and Iruka note on how much Naruto has changed from the boy they first met. Hinata weeps silent tears of joy while Sakura hits and embraces Naruto.

Tsunade has fallen into a coma, not letting her continue her rule as hokage, so the head ninjas and the lords of fire meet to discuss what they will do next. Danzo begins to nominate himself as Hokage, but Shikaku steps in and nominates Kakashi. Everyone seems to be in agreement, but Danzo speaks against it, reminding everyone what the Third Hokage has allowed, apparently convinced, the Lord of Fire changes his mind and appoints Danzo as the 6th Hokage.

Tobi meanwhile sends Kisame to hunt the 8-tails while he finds another to help with the sealing statue. The ninjas from the land of clouds also appear, shocked at the remains of the village.

Burocrats: Ah yes. He saved us from the sand and defeated Pain.
Danzou: Imbeciles. Don’t you see he has caused a huge burden on us?! The village is in this shape because of him. Akatsuki would of never come here if it hadn’t been for the Fourth!
Old Man advisor: True. But Naruto is still a mere genin.
Feudal Lord: Bring Uzumaki Naruto here.

Danzou – The Sixth Hokage

Naruto: I’m exhausted. Wow Tsuande looks old.
Tsuande true form is shown. She looks like an old woman.
Tsuande springs up
Tsuande: IM OLD?!!! YOU MAYBE SAVED THE VILLAGE! BUT! *Drives her fist into Naruto’s face sending him tumbling out of the tent.
Omoi: Whoa. We have a hostile. *Watches Naruto tumbling comes to a close in front of him.*
Omoi: Are you alright little dude?
Naruto: Who the hell are you?
Omoi: We have come from the hidden cloud village to inform the hokage about our 8 tails being captured by Akatsuki.
Naruto Gets up. What does Akatsuki got to do with Konoha?
Omoi: Sasuke Uchiha has captured our Jinchuuriki. He is now in Akatsuki.
Naruto is petrified.

-Naruto will seek the aid of Konan and Rain country, Konan wants Naruto’s vision of peace to come true and hates Danzo.

The vast number of nameless jounin who always seem to never be around to help might be managed more efficiently, but morally and just generally I can’t see Danzou being a good Hokage. I mean Root seems to have some top-class members but the whole deception surrounding Sai with Orochimaru was so contrived and ridiculous it might as well have been the brainchild of a mental. Basically I think Danzou is going to maintain a vaneer of “srs business gaiz, we r ninja” but will be actually batfucking insane.

Everyone that sucks will die. Fodder Ninja will become unstoppable if Danzou becomes Hokage. Wait.

This guy is a pansy. He might have shinobi dressing up like Guy Might and Rock Lee. A kage is suppose to protect the village. This fag comes out of nowhere to nominate himself as the sixth hokage.

He doesn’t have the balls to become hokage. What if someone like Madara comes to town and raid? Yeah. He’ll be hiding 80ft below Konoha while it’s reduced to bits.

But he might have to battle Naruto for the position or Tsuande. Since he had to battle the third for his position, but lost.

But enough about the emo kids, it’s time to concentrate on the main character! Naruto arrives back in Konoha after the grandiose spectacle that was his battle with Pein. The hero is exhausted and can barely move. Luckily his sensei shows up just in time to help him on the way home. It’s good to see that Kakashi’s made a nice recovery in such a short time. My expectations were that he’d need to rest for a few weeks, like after his clash with Deidara.

As Naruto enters the city limits, he is welcomed by the cheering of a gigantic crowd – the citizens of Konoha, who have gathered to thank their savior. In the three years since Naruto became a ninja he has managed to earn the respect he vowed to obtain.

Even though things looked pretty grim for Naruto at the beginning of the series, through great determination, hard work and “the guts to never give up”, the number one knuckle-headed ninja finally gets a taste of what it’s like to live his dream. I’d say this chapter could under different circumstances be the very last in the series. It seems like just a matter of time until Naruto defeats the bad guys, gets Sasuke back and becomes the Hokage.

The villagers are all very grateful for everything that Naruto’s done for them. They express their happiness in tears, screams and cheers, asking various questions, never for a moment giving Naruto a chance to catch his breath. Perhaps their feelings are best epitomised by Sakura, who first punches Naruto for being so irresponsible towards his own well-being, then hugs him and thanks him for all his efforts.

But while everyone is celebrating, other events are slowly set in motion. We first see Akatsuki’s reaction to Pein’s death. As most of you predicted in last week’s poll, it seems Madara has no intention in dealing with the deflected Konan. It is disturbing to see the demon statue – Gedou Mazou still intact. Hopes were that it would disappear with Nagato’s death, but for one reason or another, it’s still standing, the bijuu inside it ready to be used by Madara. The Uchiha’s words: “We’ll need a new pawn to synchronise with Gedou ” makes me think that the statue requires a living human being that has to be constantly linked to it, in order to keep in the same dimension.

In the outskirts of Konoha we see some development on the Thunder ninjas’ mission. They’ve located Konoha, or at least the remains of it and are about to go scouting for information on the recent events. Their role in the manga so far has been nothing but comic relief, let’s hope they at least have some interesting techniques that could help restore the village to its previous state.

The final and most important events in the chapter revolve around the Hokage. We see Tsunade, who has reverted to her elderly-looking state, because her chakra has been completely drained. She’s fallen in a comatose state, from which she might not wake up anytime soon.

At the same time, the Daymio has gathered all the village elders for an urgent meeting – his five consultants, Homura Mitokado and Utatane Koharu (the third Hokage’s teammates), Danzo – the leader of ANBU-ROOT, the unnamed ANBU agent, who’s in charge of the Hokage’s security and Shikaku Nara – Konoha’s head jounin are summoned to discuss the future of Konoha. Their first worries regard Akatsuki and the rebuilding of the village. A budget must be decided, workers form all parts of the country must be hired, in order to reconstruct the strongest shinobi village to its former glory.

While discussions regarding what must be done on the matters of the other ninja countries take place, Danzo takes to opportunity to address another important issue – the Hokage’s position. With Tsunade unable to perform her duties, a new candidate must be elected, one who has the ability, the intelligence and the reputation required to take up such an important task. The Daymio, who seems a bit naive, wants to wait for Tsunade’s recovery, but is persuaded differently. he notes that his original choice would be the best – Jiraiya, but seeing as the legendary ninja is now deceased, such a thing is impossible. Just as Danzo is about to speak, he is cut off by Shikaku, who, being a smart man, gets an idea of what the elder is up to. The jounin nominates Kakashi as a candidate for the spot, which is welcomed with much excitement on the Daynio’s part, as he is swayed by the idea that the son of the White Fang and student of the fourth Hokage and also a man who has proven himself a great asset to the Fire country is available for the position.

Many of you might wonder why Naruto wasn’t chosen immediately because of his victory over Pein. While it’s true that the blond is probably Konoha’s strongest ninja right now, he’s still too young and inexperienced in the “Kage business”. His nomination would’ve probably been turned down instantly.

However, things take a turn for the worse. Kaksahi not appointed as the sixth Hokage, his place is surprisingly taken by Danzo. The man who is the cause for so much suffering in the shinobi world finally attains the power he’s been seeking his entire life – to be the leader of the strongest ninja village. By persuading the council that Sarutobi’s teachings were too meek and sympathetic, he proposes a new regime – one of harsh laws that will discourage attitude such as Orochimaru’s and will bring a new meaning of peace to the world. Shikaku’s protests remain unheard, the Daymio’s mind is made up. A new age of darkness is about to begin under the tyranny of Danzo.
